Supported Reel to Reel Tape Devices on HP3000sCB On HP-IB compatible systems (which necessarily run MPE/iX 6.0 or earlier) there were several reel-to-reel tape devices available, including the HP 797x series and the HP 7980 units. More recent 7980 units can be refitted with a SCSI adapter (though it is hard to find) and hooked up to newer systems.
