My test notes say: 1) Create yourself a domain computer account. You need to do this via standard Windows processes, not with Samba. Within HP I can use a magic web site to create computer accounts. 2) Modify your Samba's smb.conf to include: security = domain encrypt passwords = yes password server = PDC or BDC name 3) Join your Samba server to the domain: /SAMBA/CURRENT/bin/smbpasswd -j domainname I just retested all of this on a different MPE machine and it still works for NT4 domains. --[[MarkBixby]] -- Main.ChrisBartram - 09 Jun 2006
