---+ Netware and the HP3000

HP offers Netware/iX - a native (MPE) version of the Netware server. It allows all the functionality of pc-based versions with the notable exception of NLMs (there are no MPE NLMs). Also, users have noted that the performance never approaches that of a dedicated high-end PC server, but the additional accessibility of files (shared between MPE and PCs) and the ability to share printers on the HP 3000 with PCs on the network.
