Interex, the International HP User's group, shut its doors permanantly. 

The only advocacy organizations that represent HP3000 users now are

OpenMPE http://www.openmpe.org/ 

and the Encompass users group is trying to court HP3000 users as well

There are still some regional HP3000 Users Groups in operation:
