E-Mail Configuration: Batch Job to Process Queue

To process outbound Email for an HP3000 system with a dial-on-demand Internet link create a job like the following:

!JOB SMTPOUT,MGR.THREEK
!RUN SMTPOUT.SYS.THREEK,FORCED;INFO="remote.host.name"
!STREAM SMTPOUT.JOB.THREEK;IN=,1
!EOJ

In the above example, change the "remote.host.name" to the name of your trusted gateway system. (Use all caps in the name.)

Also, the STREAM command in this example assumes you've kept this job as SMTPOUT.JOB.THREEK and that you want the job to open your link hourly. Modify the STREAM command accordingly if necessary.
