Download a copy of NetMail/3000

If you can FTP a file from the Internet directly onto your HP3000:

As MANAGER.SYS:

If you have Reflection from WRQ/Attachmate:

Download this file to your PC (right click on the link and select "save to disc"): ftp://ftp.3kassociates.com/DEMO/threektp.wrq
Using Reflection, sign onto your system as MANAGER.SYS.
In Reflection, under "File" select "Transfer". Locate the downloaded file on the left side. Make sure the "Transfer Type" box in the middle has "Labels" selected. On the right side in the "Host file name" box type "THREEKTP.PUB.SYS", then upload the file.

Proceed as specified below

If you have MiniSoft MS92:

Download this file to your PC (right click on the link and select "save to disc"): ftp://ftp.3kassociates.com/DEMO/threektp.m92
Using MS92, sign onto your system as MANAGER.SYS.
In MS92, under "File" select "Transfer". Locate the downloaded file on the left side. Make sure "BACKUP format" is selected. On the right side in the "Host file name" box type "THREEKTP.PUB.SYS", then upload the file.

Proceed as specified below

:FILE TP=THREEKTP.PUB;DEV=DISC
:RESTORE *TP;THREEKLD.PUB.SYS
Examine THREEKLD.PUB.SYS for any parameters you may wish to change/customize.
:STREAM THREEKLD.PUB.SYS

Once the installation job is complete your software is installed; you need only

Get a valid evaluation code for the software (<-Click there to have the codes emailed to you automatically)
Do some quick configuration of your mail server; you :RUN NETMAINT.PUB.THREEK to perform all maintenance
- To jump right in, see Chapter 3 of the NetMail/3000 Administrator's manual for the required initial setup. All the manuals are available online in PDF format here.
- For simple command files you can use to send email from your HP3000, look in the XEQ.THREEK group for files called
  - SENDATT (send attached file)
  - SENDFILE (sent just a file)
  - SENDHTML (send a message/report as an HTML message)
  - SENDMSG (send a simple email message)
  - SENDPDF (convert a report to PDF then email it)
  - SENDRPTS (sends all spoolfiles for a given owner/job to a specified recipient)
